Between 14 March and 1 April, it was time for our Dies weeks! For three weeks, we had a variety of activities every Tuesday and Thursday evening.

We started in the first week with a clothing swap, organised by sorority Quenouille. This involved several people swapping cool outfits together!

Then on Thursday night there was a cantus, organised by the Super Chokers. A successful evening filled with lots of singing and beer.

In the second week it was time for a traditional AEGEE activity: a European Night. Within our pub, our members could take a European tour through the UK, Italy, Estonia, Greece, Serbia and Spain, with snacks and drinks to match.

On Thursday, it was then time for a grand open party, organised by MonduMonium. Having previously discovered the land, they took us to the underwater world, Bikini Bottom to be precise.

In the third and final week, on Tuesday evening it was time for the annual association photo, followed by a Crafts Beer Tour through Enschede, which started in our own beloved pub Asterion, organised by fraternity Eximiae Unitatis.

In preparation for the gala, a dance course was scheduled on Thursday 30 March, followed by a matching salsa and meringue evening.

On 1 April, the Dies weeks ended with the very best party: the gala! On a beautiful evening at Rico Latino, people enjoyed unlimited drinks, good music provided by DJs and The Walnuts, and each other’s company! The gala even went down so well that it culminated in an afterparty in our own pub! A smashing end to the Dies weeks!

Looking back, these were three intense but very enjoyable weeks!
