You can become a member of AEGEE-Enschede by filling in the registration form. Registration is open throughout the year! During the HAIP weeks, you can find out whether AEGEE is right for you before deciding to become a member.
No, AEGEE-Enschede is an open student association, which means that we do not have a hazing ritual and you can become a member at any time. After the Kick-In, there will be time to get to know the association during the HAIP!
The HAIP is AEGEE’s After Intro Programme. It consists of five weeks filled with fun activities designed to help you get to know the association better, but above all to have fun. During the HAIP, you will meet many different people from outside your study programme, but also from different years.
If you participate in the HAIP, nothing is mandatory and everything revolves around having a good time together. If you have any questions, please contact us, or if you are interested in participating, you can register here!
This year, the kick-in will take place from Wednesday 20 August to Thursday 28 August.
At AEGEE-Enschede, studying comes first. A great student life naturally also includes good grades during exam weeks. During exam weeks, you can meet AEGEE members all over the university to study together. After each exam week, we organise a post-exam party to celebrate the end of the week!
At AEGEE, you can decide for yourself how active you want to be and how much time you want to invest. After the HAIP, you can form a year club and later join a fraternity or society. You can also join one of the many committees to be active alongside your studies!
At AEGEE, we are happy to help you get started with your studies. In your first year, it is important that you obtain your BSA! This means that you must earn 45 ECTS credits.
Throughout the year, AEGEE takes exam weeks into account and will not schedule any activities during these periods. This allows you to focus entirely on your studies, so that you can enjoy the post-exam party afterwards!
The membership fee is only €80 per year. For this, you can participate in all activities organised by AEGEE and you are always welcome at our pub Asterion for a drink!
Of course! You can become a member of AEGEE from the age of 17, but you are not allowed to drink alcohol in our pub Asterion.
